Holy mackerel. You feel that mofo? That's what a 5.6 earthquake (albeit a very deep one) feels like.
I haven't felt that shaken since I watched Hard Candy. Yes, we felt it all the way up in SF. I imagine folks down the South Bay are sweeping up the precious remains of their liquor cabinets now.

It felt like someone was trying to lift up the side of the house. But other than that... it was okay. I've felt bigger ones in years past. This didn't feel like a 5.6, more like 3.5 or so. I'm reporting from Sunnyvale, btw.

Checking in from O-town. Yup, we felt. It lasted long enough for us to telepathically decide that it was worth ducking under the table just in case. Easily 30 seconds of rumbling and shaking. We live on the Hayward fault so it might have been magnified a bit.
