For those cruising 9th Avenue or just waiting for the N-Judah, this has been an ornery vision for the past seven years:
The "boycott" was masterminded by bitter BK neighbor and owner of those windows, travel writer Harry Pariser (whose offbeat Costa Rica guide was really quite handy). Harry even chronicled his fight against the BK at whopperstomper.com.
But this week, suddenly, it all ended...
What happened? Did Harry move? Did he just give up? Or is he too disturbed about a vegan joint moving in across the street?

Maybe he was ordered to take that down. My friends downtown tried to do branding via some windows in their office and the neighbors complained. They were ordered to take it down...
